TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, that coverage is solid.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after using both.

FIX API is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That would make the platform set once it is live.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

This is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
